    On June 2-4, 2017 we will be hosting the first ever 500 mile Overland Road Rally through the mountains of Tennessee. This rally will incorporate a healthy mixture both technical trail driving, and asphalt roads. It is not a rally race, you are penalized for being early or late to each checkpoint. It is a Monte-Carlo style scoring system. You will need a 4 wheel drive, high clearance vehicle to successfully finish. All vehicle makes and models are welcome.



    Teams of 1 to 3 vehicles are welcome, and each team needs at least 1 navigator. There will be checkpoints along the route which you will be given. The winning team will get some pretty cool prizes, and I am currently working on getting more sponsors. Our current sponsors include Blue Ridge Overland Gear, Black Peak Supply Co, and Second Chance Medical. 15 teams are already registered, and there's still 6 months left! There is currently only 1 2016 Tacoma registered at this time, however there are a few Toyota pickups, and many 4runners.     If you mean do you have to sign up together, no... You can sign up at different times, and around mid to late February I will request a list of everyone on your team. You will be given the same number on Rally weekend, so say you and your friend sign up at different times, but list yourself as a team... Come rally day, I'll issue you both (say...) Number 26 decals, and you'll drive the rally together. We are also using a chat app called GroupMe, where some solo riders are organizing making teams with strangers... Its pretty cool how everyone is doing it, as it wasn't planned by me.. just people pre organizing prior to the run.
