    Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    Love my 1st gen! By the time I get done with my build I could have afforded a new one! :rolleyes:

    Yeah, I reduced my overall debt by 10k and monthly by $150. She'll be paid off in 3 years.

    Good question. And the answers are many.

    1. Finances - I just finished grad school and I needed to free up some cash in anticipation of student loan payments next year.

    2. Love of the First Gen - My bro had the sweetest '93 with 240k on it a few years ago before he got ran off the road and totaled it. We went anywhere in that thing. It was that tough Tacoma that started their reputation. So, I've always wanted a first gen in tribute to his old one. I took it straight over to his place after I bought it and he flipped out.....then offered to buy it....lol.

    3. Simplicity - Although I love tech, the sheer simplicity of this truck and first gens attracted me. I'm honestly tired of chasing newer and better. I've had 3 Tacoma's in 1 year, and it was getting out of hand. Now, I will buy some cool stuff for this one, but the fact that she's basic and older seems to settle my desire for materialism.

    4. Color - This color is absolutely beautiful, and the need to keep a darker color clean satisfies my OCD's tendencies.

    5. Ruggedness / Awesomeness - There's just something about this gen that screams "I'm a man who can afford a newer truck but chooses to drive a fuckin awesome gen truck instead".

    This was after a thorough wash,clay, using a Porter Cable 7424XP orbital buffer with three levels of compound followed by their Butter Wet Wax. 8 hrs later, I realized how hard a good detailer works.

    Yep! I have used their stuff. The tire/trim gel they have can't be beat. I've also used their wheel wax.

    I had 2007 infinite M35 once upon a time. It was black and I was obsessed with keeping it clean....

    It's nice to someone else out there appreciates Chemical Guys!

    Congratulations on the upgrade. I love the first gens, everytime I pass one I turn and stare. The body style is gorgeous and reliability is unmatched! I plan on keeping mine for years to come.
