Airbag light comes on when I start the truck and then goes right off. Once, in 2013, I shoved some books under the driver's seat and damaged the wiring harness. This caused the light to come on, and a tech at my Toyota dealer "rebuilt" this for $60. The only lasting effect is that the airbag light seems to take longer to go out now, but it does go out...

Second time something happened was in September 2016 while we were installing the new stereo backup camera. My neighbor who helped me install it accidentally disconnected the little display under the radio where the clock and passenger airbag/seatbelt light are. This caused the airbag light to come on and he had to disconnect the battery and reconnect it to make it go away.

Why was that Tacoma towed? My Tacoma looked MUCH worse than that after a drunk guy hit me...

Things were rubbing on the tires and it was taken to the body shop that day for the inspection and soon after, teardown for repairs.

No, but it would have been cheaper if they had. Including the rental car, repairs, more repairs because it wasn't done right and then a third round of repairs because they still couldn't fix it... they spent $8000. They could have totaled it out at $12,000 and auctioned it off for $6000 and been better off.

Hang in there. Be patient. Give yourself and your partner breaks. You are doing the right thing. A diagnosis before two is VERY surprising, but good to see you have him in ABA therapy. Look into your local YMCA for adapted aquatics programming and also local horse riding facilities for therapy horses. I have seen some wonderful progress in children on the autism spectrum through both activities.
I am an adapted aquatics coordinator, working mainly with kids on the Autism spectrum for 12 years. I have returned to college to study special education, and was recently (finally) diagnosed with high functioning autism spectrum disorder (formerly "Aspergers") myself.

Again, I know what you are going through and I am sure you have established daily routines for your son. ABA therapy is a good thing. You can't "fix" your kid, he's just hard-wired a little differently. He's a puzzle. Enjoy solving the puzzle as best you can and give yourself breaks when needed, and your son, too. It can be frustrating during periods of little progress or "plateaus," as I call them.

Working at a bar, you won't believe the sh*t people tell you..

There's this one guy I know who plays guitar at the bar where I work; Roofer by day; Great guy!

Back in the 80s when he was a teenager, he drove a Subaru Brat. Anybody remember those? Anyway, once on a snowy night, he took it to a parking lot and purposely slid it into a guardrail just because he thought it was fun. Yes, damage to the Brat actually did result.

Same guy, about 4 to 5 years ago... He was very drunk and driving his BMW M5 E60 at about 110 MPH. He hit a deer dead center at this speed. Knowing he would never pass a breathalyzer, he just kept going. The BMW was amazingly still operational after hitting a deer at over 100 MPH, but the smell of dead deer flesh eventually came through the A/C vents and stunk up the car. This guy made it home alive, but the BMW was totaled. His insurance wrote him a check, and surprisingly the car was bought at an insurance auction, repaired, and resold!

    To the OP:
As persnickety as many of the Taco owners are here, I imagine there are many MANY undiagnosed Aspie Bros. I'd look first at the dudes who keep their undercarriages spic and span.

Hyundai Sonata, but yes she was. Not sure if she was charged, or lost her license, but she lived with minor injuries

Damn, I remember your thread. I still cringe when I think about that impact. Thank God she didn't have a passenger that day.
