I figured that out when i started to build my own self supported (no poles to the ground) 270 degree awning. Framing was easy, couldn't find anyone to sew the fabric part. I think I'll get one of the cheaper brands and rebuild the hinge area to do what i want.

I got mine last week! They look like a very quality item that hopefully wrong be needed. But if I or someone else needs them, they'll work great.

Yeah, I was pretty impressed with the quality. During the crowd fund when I originally sent munnies , they hadn't introduced the permanent valves. Kinda bummed I didn't get those. :(

Anyway great thing to let roll around the glove box if the situation arises.

Ian, you got the permanent replacement ones? They say they're 20X stronger than stock.

Probably not run TPMS with these...

Did you buy the emergency replacement ones?

I bought a bunch too from the crowd fund project and am thoroughly impressed. I bought them to use as emergency spares in case I tear out one of the current stems. My TPMS setup is not like it is on stock or other one piece wheels and I think that if you tear off a stem your Toyota TPMS sensor will be loose inside the wheel. Having the emergency replacement would become just that, an emergency replacement to get you and your family back to the world where you can commit to a proper repair at your leisure.

Yeah the emergency ones. They will work fine. The permanent ones seem cleaner with a lower profile.

The TPMS depends on where the sensor is. For those attached the valve stem, well, if you break one, it'll float around inside until you take the tire off.

These definitely seem like a great idea for emergency spares. Might need to grab a couple.
