Hey all I purchased a AFE intake for my 99 tacoma a few weeks ago but turns out Toyota is buying it back and now I am getting an 06. Is there any way it would fit the newer model. I would hate to pay shipping costs and such to send it back. Its the pro dry S kit I think stage 2.

Sorry to say it man,but no go.:( The 2.7L would still be the same, but the truck width isn't. The aFe as it is wouldn't work. But you might be able to mod it to fit on top of your fender well.Extend the tube.(Just a thought)

Not much to them, pretty easy to modify.

I bought an AFE and they sent the wrong one but with about an hour's work it fit fine. I figured it was less hassle than boxing it up and driving to the post office to send it back.

Its still in the box I never got to try it out lol. I might try to modify it or something seems like all I would have to do is cut down the mandrel bent pipe? IDK
