I went the economy route when I first bought my truck. It was lifted, 285s,tented windows and a few other things on a major budget. I still had the temp tags on it when all of that was done. In my defense, have you ever seen a dclb with 245s? It looks terrible. Now I'm going back and doing it the way I want. Ill have SR8 wheels in a week or two and my 35s will be delivered Friday. :bananadance: My sliders won't get here till February ish.:annoyed:

Who are you getting the sliders from? I'm hitting up 4xinnovations for mine. Maybe I should do it now before mid janurary that I planned? I want them ready to go for the lone star jamboree.

My problem is I now have a bunch of the cheaper goodies, but still need to add it all on, haha. I haven't had a day off without other crap to do for 2 months now. But next week I'll start dipping, and I have some kenwood speakers to put in, and figuring out if i can get the wiring type stuff figured out on my own for the lights I have. Doubt I can do it without help, but Ima try all by my lonesome first :D.
Then I'll probably be annoying @G.T. to have another mod day, haha.

What 35's did you go with?

I would definitely put on the sliders before the jamboree. You would kick yourself if you got some damage that could have been prevented. I will play around right now but won't do anything serious till I get the sliders on and a full set of skids.Screenshot_20161228-130207.jpgThis is what I have on order. It's definitely not cheap cheapest route but I really like the way they look. The 35s are Toyo Open Country at2. Screenshot_20161228-130549.jpgThat is what I have now and love them. It's just a pic off the net, not my setup. I have around 90k on them and still have many more to go. I drive a lot and don't want to replace tires every year. When I find a good tire combo, I definitely stick with it.

That's the plan with the sliders. I'll have enough to upgrade my front skid, but the rest will have to wait until later in the year. I'll just hit up the bunny trails there with my own most likely.

They look good. I won't upgrade until I need to. Just ever looking for ideas of the best tire to go with that won't kill my mpg when I do. Haven't heard anything bad about the toyos yet.

Good looking truck! There is a couple of people out this way. I hardly see any lifted tacomas. Still trying to get Gerrick to lift his.

It's coming, don't you worry. Gonna pick up the stainless brake lines here in the next week. And then hopefully have the Total Chaos UCAs and OME spring leafs by April. After that is tires. I just have to measure my clearance in the garage to make sure whatever I do I'll still fit.

KB Voodoo is selling a remote start system right now for $130. I bought a kit and putting it on this weekend hopefully.

I saw that one. Any recommendations in the area that can install it for me? I'm somewhat mechanically/electronically deficient, so not sure its something I want to tackle.

I should have. I think with everything I added I still paid less and I got to get it in black.
