Is there any difference in the rear axle between 1st gen taco and 3rd gen runner besides leafs vs springs mounting? Are they the same width?

 

4Runner has sway bar mounts, link mounts etc. Isn't the third different besides? I think the elockers are the same, but the unlocked ones aren't

 

Thanks. I have been thinking of upgrading gears in the beginning of the year and there is an axle from a 2001 runner on pirate that has 4.88s and an ARB. Just debating on how much of a pain it would be.

 

Its so good but that line keeps me from going. Just cant do a 2 hour lunch and not eat. You just stand and drool.

So my kid is like "man, there's a lot of tennis balls in the backyard!"

"That's odd" I think. And I go back there to clean out the BBQ for some carne asada.

There's lemons everywhere. DOZENS OF THEM. So I think about if any of my friends have lemon trees and would have dropped some off in the back porch, but 1) No; 2) they're all half green; And 3) there's not a torn up bag anywhere. So next thought is "that little shithead next door threw them over the fence!"

So I pull out my iPhone and load the security camer app and try to see when they got there. 7am, they were there. 9 pm yesterday, they were there. 4 pm, NOT THERE. 5pm, there, so fast fwd from 4pm until I see the damn lemons being lobbed over the wall towards my dogs. Hit pause.

Go next door, neighbors aren't my cup of tea, but they're halfway decent as neighbors. Shit ton of kids living there though, like 8-10 kids and 3 adults. Anyways, get the kids to get mom and she comes and I explain what's going on & tell her that I've told her kids like a dozen times since they started renting there in 2013 to stop throwing shit over my fence. She knows EXACTLY what kid it was, only one who was in the backyard yesterday. All the other kids were at the park.

She calls the kid down, he argues that it wasn't him. She says "don't lie to me or I'll slap your face!" Kid says it wasn't him. I pull out phone and show him my security camera footage of him. He throws a fit and comes with me still saying it wasn't him. I give him a trash bag and tell him to clean up my damn yard, then go get a cup of coffee and sit there watching him.




And then I see it.




Hopefully his damn monitor ping'd his probation officer, lol. When dad gets home and finds out, he's going to be pissed.

 

Saw that in the first pic before even scrolling down, red flag right there. Hopefully he can turn that around.

x2 Yesterday at work just added to the cause. Gigantic family came in with like 3 adults for the 15 or so kids. Just let them run rampant, I got to play babysitter.
