Check your connections just to be sure the cable isn't stretched or being pulled.

This topic has been covered a million times on this site. You need to reset the sensors. The directions are on the site so I will let you search and find it so you learn how to use the search features

If you don't mind please humor me how adding a lift causes the system to show a fault when nothing was removed or disconnected.
I'm asking purely in an educational manner.

    Thanks ahead of time.

the truck uses a yaw sensor for the VSC system. When you lift it changes the dynamics and the VSC system kicks in randomly and sees a fault. You have to do a new calibration to zero it with the lift.

I checked all the wires nothing is pulled an everything is plugged in. Do I have to take it to the dealer to get it reset?

ABS and VSC/Traction Control light on means there is a code thrown for something

I believe Gainman is talking about the VSC zero point calibration found in the pdf file in the first post of this thread

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lift-with-vsc-answer.41215/

However in that case the ABS light does not stay on and the VSC system is more sensitive but again the light doesn't stay on

ABS and VSC light on are a default condition with many codes
