So we opened up our gifts and my parents were nice enough to buy some NFab running board steps! They ordered from runningboardwarehouse on the 9th. They haven't shipped as of a day or 2 ago... looking at the recipe they accidentally ordered for the 6ft bed instead of the 5ft bed and it's $125 to ship back.... I have to ship it back if they didn't ship it already.. my question is does anybody know anyone that works there and can waive the fee?! Thanks

Even if there closed now, I would call the number and leave a message if you can. Also email them the same request for a change order. It can't hurt to try.

If it hasn't shipped yet, Monday is the earliest it can ship. So you would be prudent to call them first thing Monday when they open and correct the problem. I think you will probably be ok. If it was ordered on the 9th and it's taking them this long, there back ordering it evidently from the builder.

First you have nice parents to buy a swell gift like that, I think that 125 dollars to ship it back is crazy. Take them to the ups store and see what it really cost to ship them back. I bought steps from the same place and they were nice people. Merry Christmas to all

Indeed my parents are too kind to myself, my wife and everyone else! The 125 is the service charge I believe for the restocking fees and things like that.. Does anyone have a pic of there NFab steps without a lift? Curious how it looks? Might have to get a leveling kit so they are more functional

I'd wager that they are not even open on Monday. The way the Christmas fell this year, most businesses are recognizing Monday as the holiday. Even the post office will be closed on Monday.

I shipped a pair of skis UPS from NY to CO a month ago. Cost me $65. $125 for big heavy steel sliders seems pretty reasonable to me.

Thanks to eccracer104 I was able to get the correct fitting N-Fab side steps and saved me $100! So now I have 550-600 for my lift in the near future!! This day off keeps getting better! Just waiting for them to arrive as well as some hood light brackets and new hi lift jack!

I didn't think it would matter with bed length because running boards have nothing to do with the bed. I could see an issue with double cab vs access cab.

When ordering they ask for bed size, I'm assuming because you can have a long bed double cab... but I'm not entirely sure

Didn't go with sliders, went with side steps so the wife can get in and out easier.. and I like the looks of them.. but she slipped off the ones I have on now which is just the cheap running boards..

The old boards I had only went from front of cab to rear of cab on my double cab long bed and did not extend to the rear wheel. That's where I was confused - different style of running boards.
