    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Another vote for actual winter tires like Nokian, Blizzaks, Michelin Ice, etc.

    4wd and extra weight don't to squat in stopping. Tires do.

    If you have 'occasional' ice and can't justify a 2nd set of wheels/tires, staying home or emergency chains are in order.

    The only thing that will help on ice is chains or studs.

    I've always found what helps the most is a good driver. A Couple 30 min sessions of donuts and drifting in a empty snowy or icy parking lots will do wonders for learning how to control your taco (and it's fun as hell). Hm...now I want an icy and a taco

    Studs dominate ice lol
    Very important to slow down before starting down an icy hill rather than halfway down lol
    For sketchy descents 4 lo is nice so u don't have to use brakes/slide enablers
