So everybody agrees that replacing this bushing after you lift (even before too) is the way to go.

However, paying $60 for a "tool" that removes that needle bearing seems a bit ridiculous.

Trying to gage interest here as I want to order this thing and get it taken care of.

My proposal.....If I get 6 people to kick in $10 each, I'll buy the tool and between this group we can pass it around. This is going to take a bit of trust and coordination so nobody gets the screw job when they are ready to replace their seal.

When you are done with it, you send it to the next guy. I'm sure it will fit in a USPS priority or 1st class envelope. Shipping should be about $5. When we are all done, we can sell it and split the $$$

    Anybody interested?

I'm possibly interested. Just sorta depends on if I think this is an easy enough job I can tackle myself or if I should pay someone to do the install. Thoughts?

I guess it depends on how comfortable you are working on the truck. I just did a lift and c4 bumper by myself....plenty of you tube and instructions out there. I decided I wanted to save the $$$ and give it a shot.

I've pulled the axles and seals on a solid front axle truck so I don't think it will be that much different and I'll give it a shot.

There you guys no need to buy a tool just pay to have it shipped to you. In the box is the removal tool and driver tool to seat the bearing in

I would be in...but I'm in Canada so the shipping would likely be a cunt.

Soooooooo...with that said. I'll likely order my own and then sell it on here. Unless just throwing it out there if anyone north of the wall want to do something like this I'd be down. If in the southern ontario area, I can even deliver it and sell it 1/2 or something.

Too bad I actually just sent them out from Canada to the US. I ended up getting super busy this summer and didn't get around to the bushing swap. If you'd like I'd split the cost of the tools with ya and we can both use them then.

I'm in BC so it would still be across the country but shipping probably wouldn't be too bad.

No definitely wouldn't be since its all domestic shipping.
I won't be doing it until I do my lift sometime around spring. But I'm not far from the niagara border so I'll likely ship down there and just drive down and pick it up.
    Check PM

Not sure if you are doing the swap yourself or having a shop do it for you. In the even it's the latter, Dale's Auto in Surrey did mine for me and they already have the tool on hand. They have done this job many times and know their stuff.
