    While we're on the topic,

Does anyone make a rear frame boxing kit besides trail gear? Contemplating doing that when I've got the bed off and redoing the rear suspension this spring.

Not that I have seen. Only Jeff has offered boxing kits for 2nd gens. But no 1st gen love.

Those are reinforcement plates not made for boxing. But going on the outside.

Why? Just install the thing yourself and spend the $60 to have it properly aligned.

i haven't tried, but i am now assuming i cannot remove my grill with the solenoid in the way (my headlights need some love, buffing and such)

    not a fan of that.

but maybe you can attest its still doable?

    +1
I've done it twice in less than two years. Not because of a bad install, but because of a bad "used" rack. It's not as bad a people think.

    Started some much needed maintenance.

    -Replacing spark plugs (IK22's)
-Remove SC and change oil/phenolic drive adapter
    -Change all belts
    -Replace idler pulley (chirping)
-Clean throttle body and remove/clean IAC valve
-Replace all gaskets I come across
-Change out hawk pads with OEM and new Brembo rotors
    -Flush brake fluid
    -PCV valve (debating catch can)
    -Rotate tires

Oh, also completed the first oil change on @dYL0n 2017 Quicksand TRD Off-road :)

Here's a few pics from the tear down.

You wish. Way nicer than your pile haha

I know that. I meant the sides. The dark photo made it look like I may have been totally plated.
