I figured cut it before it just gets ripped off on a trail.

 

I wish I had a pipe cutter but i'll prob just use a grinder with a cutting wheel. I don't like sawzal, I feel like it will jump all over the on the exhaust

 

I'll give it ago, if its choppy i'll use something else and cut more off. Getting pretty comfy with cutting my truck. Once you put on a snorkel it gets easier and easier.

 

What are you cutting? I have a portable band saw and a dremel tool if need them

 

exhaust coming off muffler. I've been called out because it looks stupid with HC bumper. Thanks for offer but i've got a bunch of cutting options.

 

I didn't mean anything negative by it lol. More so because you catch it on something on the trail and it'll cost a lot more to fix getting torn off.

 

I didn't take it negatively. I'm not easily offended. I know it looks dumb, I have been meaning to do something about it. I do wish I was aware of the trailer wire harness connector vulnerability the first time I went wheeling because I did rip that off. The OEM one is expensive. I ended up wiring in a cheap walmart one.

 

Anybody want the exhaust tip once I cut the tail pipe?

Trust me, I am as frustrated as you. I am a one man band here in the fabrication shop and it is hard enough keeping lead times down and production going let alone make time to come up with new stuff.

 

I will waterproof them and cover them in duct tape.

Thinking about selling it to buy a 4Runner. Love it to death but I travel a lot with the family and need more space.
