3rd gen is like our trucks, the 4th comes with the v8.

both are great, but the 99-00 limiteds are the cherries

96-03 is 3rd gen like ours

    04-12?? I think is 4th. Can't get the v8 in a manual I'm pretty certain of.

She will stay in Laradise. I'll leave ash with her while I go find a dog friendly place then get him. She would look for jobs in flagstaff but who knows how long that would take and if she could get one. It's a lot harder for her to get a job than me.

    Tough call.

However, the way I see it. They want you. Others will want you that may fit your situation better. May pay off to wait it out.

    Still..tough call.

    Speaking of car opinions...
What do you guys think of an 05-08 Legacy GT for a cheap but kinda fun commuter? Looking for something that is decent for cummuting, but wouldn't mind having something more fun than a Corolla.

Yeah, it's good to know I am being considered for these positions. Feels good to be qualified without even having the degree .

    optional locker, not standard

so that's why they are so nice to find

i had one for about a month until i found some core support damage, and decided to keep the truck. so sold it and made enough money to buy the canopy :)

I've heard they are amazing. Stupid fast and fun but very useable size and space and comfortable.

Also very hard to find that are nice and not super pricey. The manual ones are true unicorns.

    @Madjik_Man had one.

Get rid of the fucking jeep payment..

But last I remeber talking about this you didn't want her to have a rig as you didn't want to loose your ride along partner.

    Haha no doubt

No. Any with a Trd offroad package had lockers. The limiteds had leather and color matched trim and other shit.

What years in the 3rd gen was TRD available? I look at them from time to time and would like to find a cheap one that needs a little work. Harder to spot since they never put the stickers on the side

Pretty sure all years had the option for the locker. Maybe not 95-96 but other then that should be good.

One in the local junk yard if you want to put a locker in one you find.

I still really wish I was home for that last one you found. Totally wanted it.

Be nice. Liftin them is tricky though with the rear 3 link..well. Hard to not get bro lean.

I found a manual one I like, looks like its been well taken care of. We're considering heading to take a look at it this weekend.

    :jellydance:

How many miles. The only major downside is of course standard boxer engine issues.

Looks like 96-00 is what I'm looking for to get a 5spd/locker. What is multi mode?
