That's not bad at all! I don't know how FL to TX equates when it comes to taxes and fees but I had a written offer a week or so ago for 32.8k OTD for a base TRD Sport as you outlined including tow pkg. After I received that, other dealers offered to beat that price by a few hundred. You may be able to get some more off if you push hard and are willing to walk away. With it being only a few days left in the year, they likely won't let you walk away.

I also used Big Two this month. They found me a truck in their pipeline that could be modified and I ended up with a TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 w/ Prem Tech, JBL, & Tonneau for 36,125 before tax & tags. Also gave me a fair price on the 4Runner I traded in. Signed the papers 11/30, truck was built 12/9 and it was at the dealer 12/10. Couldn't be happier with the transaction and would highly recommend Big Two. They had the rest of the Phoenix area beat by far.

I'm glad to hear that the buying experience has been pleasant to a few on this forum from Big Two. Here's my Big Two experience from this week - On a phone call, I asked a certain individual there (Sales Manager) for an OTD quote for a 2017 TRD Sport DCSB AT 4x4 after I refused to "make an offer" to him. He sounded ticked at the request and I haven't heard back from him/them in 2 days now...

$2500 off is pretty good but you need to include the doc fee in your price to get a true view of your discount. Oftentimes this fee can be $500-900 and that would change the deal to less than average. Good Luck.

During the process of buying this truck I shopped at about 15 different dealers. I started the search in Philadelphia and then had to move to Phoenix where I started over. One thing I noticed without a doubt across the board is that the internet sales department was so much better to deal with than anyone on the phone or in person. After visiting dealers in person in PA, when I moved to AZ I decided to just email each dealer and ask them to beat the current best offer I had. They were very competitive and the whole process was relatively painless. I didnt even step foot in the dealer until I had a fair price, and the negotiations began from there.

Ya, that's the way I do it too but I made the mistake of doing my test drive there so that's why I got sucked into that internal Sales area vortex. I'm kicking myself for not doing my test drive at another dealership where I knew for I probably wouldn't get the best deal from them.

At this point I'm ready to throw in the towel for my search as I refuse to pay an OTD total higher than the actual MSRP price which is all that I'm getting now for quotes. And that includes out of state searches. I even have been pre-approved by my CU (PenFed) and have a blank check from them right in front of me.

Yeah, I'd hold tight and keep any eye out for exactly what you want. I haven't heard of anyone paying over MSRP. I paid $32,400 for mine. MSRP was $34,400 I think? Be patient and the right deal will come along.

    I bought mine early November.
2017 TRD off road double cab 4X4 magnetic gray
    -towing package
    -all weather floor mats
    -mud flaps
    -tonneau cover
    -chrome exhaust tip
(I wanted nerf predator steps but I found a set on eBay for $182 and I am going to put them on this weekend. They are easy to install judging by the you tube videos. Get the predator steps from toyota would have added $600 to the sticker price. I am saving over $400 by installing them myself)
MSRP on window sticker was $36,742
Dealership advertised it at $34,830 I also got the college grad rebate for $750. So selling price was $34,080 before the fees.
OTD price was $36,806. I bought it in Pennsylvania but paid 5% West Virginia taxes totaling $1741. Doc fee was $115 (my cousin lives in GA and he had to pay a $799 doc fee so it varies by state) title and registration fees were another $120.

Not the best deal but I am not that good at negotiating. When I leased my 2014 Scion tC the contract was written up at MSRP so at least this time I didn't pay MSRP.

Finding a good deal on these trucks is hard. TRD off road models sell pretty well in my area but I found a dealership 25 miles from me advertising the truck I bought early last month for $34830. Good thing the doc fee wasn't outrageous and my state only charges 5% on general purchases I was able to get the OTD price a little above MSRP.
I had a lease return that I was over 3000 miles on but since I was buying another Toyota the dealership didn't charge me any mileage penalties so was thankful for that. Keep looking. Tomorrow is the last day of the year so I bet a dealership is willing to knock $2500-3000 off MSRP on the last day of the year. They have annual sales quotas they have to meet so dealerships are hungry for sales tomorrow.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!

Doc fee is a CROCK OF CRAP - Please know, I will be paying a $75 DOC fee --which is still a bunch of crap --albeit --a "little bunch" .Think about --does anyone here really think the dealers pay their clerical employees from these fees!!?? HECK NO-- these fees are pure DEALER PROFIT!

Nice! I didn't ask for the invoice on my truck I just accepted the sale price they advertised on their site. Also told them I had a lease return before nailing down the deal. Should have waited to tell them about my lease return after the deal was complete. Loving my Tacoma though.
