    what you need to do next is run a usb cable up and out, right next to it so you have power. just not an apple one.

    i moved my center console usb port to the glove box, ran a 6ft usb from there, into/ under the plastics, up into the arm rest, and out the front, finished off with a couple grommets. looks nice and clean, except for the fact that the cable casing is deteriorating like all apple cables.

    I can see that. It's like opposite sides of the spectrum. I'm almost constantly surrounded by company so I enjoy the moments I have to myself, but I can see if I were constantly alone I would crave company and attention.
