I did all the work myself. Had a shop do welding for me. Also shop pressed bushings and ball joints.

I was aided by write-ups in this forum, and by forum members who gave advice.

@samiam was super helpful with advising me on the CV axle business. Mine did not want to come out. I resorted to hammer and wire choke rope.

    Thanx

Sorry I misspoke, I pressed them out and my buddy pressed them in for me. Easy to press out. I made a thread about it.

Ball joint shop helped $22 job for or pressing

Ahh. I heard its not the easiest job, but I need to do it. Any specific reason why you replaced yours?

My new fan speed resistor didn't work and my old one does after I changed the connector - wtf. Before the old one wasn't working except for on high since it burned up my old connector. Now I have to try another one to see what's going on. Anyone want to trade for a few minutes to see if my new one works in their truck? Weak.

How do you like the poly LCA bushings? I've been thinking about getting some. Are they the energy suspension ones?

Only driven on them two days in a row...

I think they pick up more Road feedback and transmit that into the steering, cab.

I need more time to evaluate.

    Mine are Whiteline poly.

Looks real good. Did Jason burn your coil bucket gussets in?

A year ago this month I bought some LCA factory take offs from another member. I refurbished them by pressing old bushings out. Paid a welder to beef up the arm and then had a shop press new BJ in. That was all done in the summer. Just got around to installing.

Work was done because I want to stay ahead of maintenance, and for performance reasons.

Yes he put the welded in cam tab, coil bucket, and spindle gussets for the installation over the course of two days without taking a break to eat on the second day lol. That guy is awesome. I was able to watch and learn the whole process along the way. Really glad he was so cool and let me do that.

I'll be doing a full write up with pics next week but for now I can say I recommend him like everyone else who's had work done by him. TW is awesome for having recommendations for guys like him!
