i'd be more willing to commit if i had a rear w/ swing out to hold a full size so i don't have it taking up bed space

How much weight can you put on the truck before you have to upgrade to 700 or 750lbs springs? I have icon 2.5's.

I ran a steel plate bumper, winch, 1/4" steel IFS skid plus 3/16" steel mid and tranny skids on 600lb springs for a while. I did have to preload them quite a bit and my nose took a dive every time I hit the brakes but its doable. Comfortably, i'd say a front plate bumper and 1 skid before wanting 650lb or 700lb springs.

I ran the OME 886 (rated for 660lb if i remember correctly)springs before i went up to the 700 kings. Im running an arb bumper with winch@ and steel cable. The truck handles a lot better with he 700s. It wasnt bad with the 660lb springs. There is a difference.

That ARB bumper is heavier than most and the weight is further out from center, making it more pronounced. For me, the OME 886 were perfect. My Kings are really bouncy right now, but I don't have them custom valved yet (I didn't know what I should be asking for). I don't think there's any shop in Oregon that knows how to do that, but IIRC Mule does that? I might go up on a weekend and work out of a hotel while they do the service.

They are pretty simple to revalve. Long as you know where to get the nitrogen of course
