Hood latch help

    Like I can push down the lock andthen use the release inside and it works fine?

    its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
    maybe you can tie down the hood with something, thru the loop in the hood and then around the grill and get it too a mechanic they will fix it in a heart beat and tell you what may need replacement. if I was in Missouri I could fix it in 2 seconds I had the same happen to my truck, some dude showed me how to pop the mechanism open with a screwdriver to close it, but in the end the cable was bound up and I lubed it then it worked normally I didn't buy a new latch at all.

    I can dive with it. It latches but just doesn't lock. I'll try that then. Thanks for all your help and your offer

    be carefull try to secure with rope or bungee cord
