What questions do you have for the lift? 885 are for stock weight and 2.5" lift. 886 are for added weight like bumper, winch, skids, so they will still provide 2.5" lift. 887 are for more lift on a stock weight, I think they give 3" of lift.

Personally having the OME I would suggest the billy shocks with the OME coils.

I have a question concerning cb radios. I get the appeal for overlanding and things of that nature. But to me, with the limited number of people actually using a cb including the offroaders themselves. Is it truthfully a viable form of communication besides to your friends that are on the trail with you, or is that it's primary function? Wouldn't a sat phone be a much better investment? Honestly curious.

That's the only thing I've ever used it for. I'll turn it on for shits and gigs when I'm on the interstate to see if the truckers are talking.

It's all about communication with the people wheeling with you. Some of the conversation while wheeling can get pretty funny. Also, useful tips from those ahead of you about what you're coming up on.

Gotcha so it isn't a survival item primarily? You learn something every day.

So I realized I asked a dumb question :anonymous: earlier because I was trying to convince myself it was true. Or in denial that I already knew the answer. Ha. You may have noticed I deleted the question I asked. If not...:spy:

In lieu of knowing my bearings needed changing and having so many miles, I decided it would be a good idea to slide up under the bitch and see what else she is needing to see Dr. House about. Well...

Nope, not a survival item. Though they can reach other groups wheeling nearby in a worst case scenario. If you are out in the middle of nowhere with 5+ trucks and everyone breaks down at the same time, then you're a member of a Ford off roading group.

You should be good in a Taco.
