    Ordered one from my dealer 399 with tax came in next morning but im on the east coast SET dealers.. Didnt want to fork out 400 but couldn't stand the stock OR grill

    Pretty straight forward. You will remove the stock skid along with those two black brackets (not sure their technical name) and the pro should align right up. Just major sure you use a torque wrench to tighten to spec and tighten each screw a bit at a time. If you tighten one side all the way while another side is lose it will cause a tilted appearance even when tightened to spec (or at least mine did).

    No, don't remove the black braces. Remove only the four outer bolts from the braces. Leave the middle two bolts in place. Four of the bolts on the TRD skid go in the holes left by the four bolts you remove. Someone posted a link to the instructions a while back. I'll see if I can find them again.

    EDIT: I forgot that the drivers side brace has a pair of bolts in the front. Only remove the inner bolt (toward the center of the truck) of that pair. So there will be three bolts that you leave in place.

    Ahhh I apparently did it wrong, ha. I had the instruction sheet with the skid but didn't see how it would work with the braces in place! Good thing I kept them, guess I need to go reavluate mine if I can find those directions.
