Forget the grill, look at that scenery. Where are you from?

Right now all is great. Corporate quickly acted to fix nearly everything. Had reservations about getting rev 1 because has been shifting pretty good lately. It was iffy for a while after original tsb faded and then seemed to improve all by itself. After the rev 1 it is greatly improved. Now not flaring from 1-2 and 2-3 and does not jump into 4th gear at 30 mph as before. I have faith that Toyota will get this mess straight eventually. Payoff is down to $10.4k after today with 8,972 miles after 1 full year. No desire to start fresh with another new one. As I always stated I do love the truck. You obviously read my rants provided on the bad days. Fortunately it seems the worse days are in the mirror. Just not sure how to drive it and maintain the current shift pattern. Sure don't want it reverting again.

As far as performance goes, it's not anemic like the tacoma. Its not doing that constant upshift at the wrong time like the 6 speed. I would use the ect button whenever I actually had to be somewhere on time. Gas mileage is a tad worse of course and im averaging 17mpg around town and about 20 on the interstate. The ride is pretty solid and surprisingly quiet. Now that I have the ko2 E loads on there it's noticeably more tank like. It has a fully boxed frame so there's no flexing that i can notice. I can tell you're interested in them so I highly suggest you go test drive one and im sure you'll love it

I love my Tacoma, lifted it right away, did a bunch of stuff to it. It's not that I hate it or anything or want to get rid of it but I do need more room. My Tacoma is my first Toyota, the 4Runner may be my second.

I totally feel. I loved my tacoma as well. I had an 06 for 9 years before I got the 16 and I still miss it dearly. It all comes down to what you really need

If I do end up with a 4Runner, it'll get a lift and some 33"s right away also lol. Do you have any plans for yours?

I'll be in the same boat. I hope the dealer works with me so we can make the numbers work. I put $10,000 cash down on my Tacoma so i now own less than 20k which will help. I won't go upside down on it though, not worth it.

My 2015 has 23700 owed on it and the dealer just appraised it at 24k m. Granted it's modified and was horribly dirty when I brought it in. Sales guy said its more worth 27k but I'm not actually looking to buy till march so I'm sure you'll be fine

Yeah mine has a small lift 33s nfab steps couple other things and only 3,200 miles on it. It's still brand new so I'm pretty sure they'll offer me something reasonable for it.

I love your carefree attitude towards spending $ on mods. I need to be more like that.. Just ordered a Expedition One rear bumper. Almost cancelled immediately because I second guess everything I buy. Lol..

Eh, can't take it with you I suppose.. And I figure I might as well get this shit out of the way. Fortunately I make a good living, have no debt besides the house and truck, savings, investments and the big kicker, no kid's (unless you count dogs) and no girlfriend.

Got the heat cranking in the garage so I can pull ole blue in and install the redline tuning struts. It is up to 66 degrees in here now. Gonna make a 7-11 soda run to warm the truck up and pull it in and get started. That sheet metal under the hood should be nice and toasty by then.
