    just went to wash my winch rope from all the mud that got on it at richland road and the wireless remote doesn't work anymore! Apparently Smittybilt made the whole thing waterproof EXCEPT the switch that turns the wireless module on and off :facepalm:. Contacted them and they are sending me a new one, but i already had two equally shitty brand new switches sitting in my toolbox so I just put one of those in. Probably just going to mount a fully waterproof switch somewhere easier to reach and never worry about it again.

    The winch still works with the wired connection but the wireless control doesn't work. I feel like the wireless feature would make things so much easier.

    Yeah me too. Only issue is that when you get a dedicated toy you also need a trailer to haul it, and then you need a truck to tow the trailer, and then you need space to keep truck and trailer...
