Wife and I were just today talking about a trip there. Used to go camping every year- in the week before Christmas- no one is there!

Love Bridalvail falls, have done lots of backpacking outside the valley too.

Yos is the most beautiful place on earth. :)

Dude...you have NO idea. There was a Jeep in front of me that had no recovery gear and shitty tires. We could only go forward so it was a full day of recovering a the Jeep forward from behind him. Talk about crash course in winching techniques.

    Here's the Jeep...

@scottalot Lake Tahoe is also nearby- surface elevation over 6k feet, and super deep! It is the "bluest" lake I have seen!

To the south is Sequoia NP- some of the tallest/oldest trees in the world.

Kind of miss this car (especially with @Matic posting his Challenger)...it was my mid-life crisis that I had while in my 20's. It made the trip out here with me but it sat in the garage all the time...sold it to a guy from Florence.

Found a couple in the background of the Vette pics...

Can you believe I sold two K1500's fleetsides (one was a 1982 6.2L diesel on 37s and the other was a 1987 SBC 350 on 35s) to buy that green piece of shit you see there in the background?

    004.jpg

Promptly sold that green POS to put the cash back in my pocket and ended up trading my 1998 GSXR 750 for the Dodge (proudly named the Blue Orange due to its $99 blue orange-peel Maaco paint job) with 250k+ miles on it. Dropped a few grand in lift, wheels, tires, and u-joints and it became one of my favorite trucks because no fucks were given...

    2010-01-10 13.55.06.jpg

Traded that Dodge for a Wrangler which I ended up selling later and making a pretty little profit on.

Now I proudly drive a minivan...

OK...I'm done. Trying to stay awake while waiting on @Daria to hurry the hell up and get down here so I can hand off these dishes to her from @scottalot and the GoPro for @Shibbyjeep.

    :bored:

Yeah for some reason people don't seem to understand the concept of normal pictures on craigslist.
