    Shit on a black truck.
Should the exposed shaft of the rear shocks be the same length on both sides if there is no weight on the truck? Its been a bitch trying to get my truck to level out. Im measuring 4 5/8" exposed on the driver side and 5 1/5" exposed on the passenger side.

As the truck sits now (Bottom of the rim face to the bottom of the fender)
    Driver:
    Front- 31 5/8' Rear- 32 1/2"
    Passenger:
    Front 32" Rear- 33 1/4"

With these number Im almost maxed out on preload for the driver side (2" exposed threads) and not nearly as loaded on the passenger side. Only weight I have on the truck is sliders so I feel like this shouldn't be right.

No because your battery and gas tank are both on the driver side. The infamous "taco lean"

Holy Moses! I had a cow when mine went from 19 to 16.9 after adding 1200 lbs of crap to my truck!

It leaned a bit before the lift and I get that but should it be maxed out on preload and still have that much of a rake? And still leaning?

Icon 2.5 extended travel and 600 or 650 spring that normally comes on them. 2.5's and AAL in the back.

I have the same suspension currently using a strut spacer This is 3/8 should bring you back even without using preload to compsate on for the taco lean.

Hmm.. Post a picture of how much preload they are at.

Shouldn't need that if you buy adjustable coil overs.

Uhhh I never pay attention to mpg as:
    1. aerodynamic as a brick.
    2. MT tires built for off road not SR 405 or I-90.
    3. +1000lb of armor/winch/bumpers/rack/hi lift/sliders.
    4. wrong vehicle to worry about mpg - get a corolla if you're concerned about mpg.
    5. Skinny pedal don't give a "F"

if ur doing it yourself, go with East Coast Gear Supply and make sure you give them your core so you get the core charge back. itll run like 1200??? (memory is hazy on the price) if you give them your core for theirs (they end up rebuilding it for the next guy). 2400 seems really high (that sounds like if you did not give them your core).

I went ECGS, they are great, even with shipping across the country. I had 4.56s installed and Im on 35s, with no issues.

I went to Mule today to set up for them to install a rear locker and they do regear AND they use Nitro gears which is what I would personally suggest for your new ring/pinion.

I have talked to Just Differentials and although I have not worked directly with them, they gave me no reason NOT to work with them. I went with Mule because they were closer to me travel-wise. I dont think you can go wrong with Mule or JD. If you do it yourself, ECGS.

Thanks for the feedback. I prefer someone to do the work. I'll be using nitro. I will be giving them a call.

not a problem, and get in when ya can! I put the deposit down for the rear locker and the soonest I could get the truck in is Jan 10! It was much later than I thought but with moving into the new house, I dont have my tools yet or the time to swap it myself before work starts so unfortunately im gonna have to wait until then. so dont expect it to be in the next week. their calendar is way full, so just a heads up; better to get inline sooner rather than later.

It's mainly the heavy toyos and the diameter of the tire.. if I go to a 35inch d rated Mt tire I'd probably go back up to 14.5 15

Just visited MULE's website definitely closer than JD. I will have to give myself some buffer time here, I'm sure their bogged down. Surprised no one is recommending 4wheelparts

I never had a good experience with them from Nashville personally. Not sure how the one around here is but it will NEVER be my first go-to place EVER!!! haha
