    Beautiful post.

    Thank you.

That picture is exactly what's going on with my truck.

I just have to do a few more drives, start/stops, etc I'll see if my high idle issue goes away.

Dafuq? I read it as he's telling me not to touch it, it's normal.

I'll see if the idle normalizes, if not I'll bust out the whips and leather for this thing.

I'm saying it's doing its job correctly but since the throttle body has so many parts that can go out of spec you may need to fuck with it a little bit to take up the slop from 18 years of use. But not to be surprised if it slackens a bit when the truck is off. ya dig?

Not quite, he's telling you what it's doing, extending for a high idle in the hopes of a smooth shift.
I have no idea what the relationship is between the dashpot (Thank you @devinzz1 for that) and a newly cleaned TB, but it seems to change what it was once used to and doesn't want to change back. I dunno, just tossing it out there. Take your girlfriends nail polish, make a dot on the screw. The count turns. If it sucks, turn it back the same number of turns. :burp:
Do it with the engine at operating temp, I did mine while it was running, stopped and checked the tach when it sounded good again.

Hey I need some help, I replaced my front struts today, but I don't know which was the right spring and which is the left spring. The only markings on the springs are shown in the picture. Anybody know? I am about 85% sure there is a difference on the factory springs. Anti-taco lean, I think.

Only if it is 4wd would that be worth it to you i think. Be a simple swap and you'd have 4wd. Could sell the rear axle and other parts easily to come out on top.

But if its not 4wd. I see little point.

Yup. That seems not horrible for an entire car.
