The washers took a beating on the last set I borrowed, but they held up just fine. My impact got a workout :curls:

If they look unsafe when you rent one, tell the manager that it appears excessively worn and unsafe. Usually, they will take a new one off the shelf for you. Atleast thats been my experience.

That's their "compare to" price, which is kinda bullshit.

They'll take a $4 breaker bar and "compare it to" a $40 breaker bar by Snap On or the like so it makes the deal seem better.

The regular price is $99 as marked. A good deal still, but hopefully that clears up the confusion on the significantly larger price on their coupons.

I think they do free shipping to the store.
Don't quote me on that. Never bought anything online.

    :notsure:
I left my 4" angle grinder outside for the last 3 months because I kept forgetting to get it.

Been rained on like crazy and outside in wet winter weather down to the mid 20s.

I think it still works. Haven't plugged it in yet, but my $20 wire wheel is all rusty. :bananadead:

That's why you pay for the 1 year extended warranty and replace it every year.

Surprised I haven't seen more mention of this. I thought the orange HF deadblow has become the defacto standard for hitting things. I always reach for it before the BFH and it usually does the job. There's no HF near my house or I'd have more of their stuff probably. As others have said, their impact sockets are great too. And include 18mm which isn't always common.

I wonder how many times the location of a HF has factored into a guy's decision on where to live, if looking to relocate??

I use their hydraulic crimper for large gauge wire/battery terminals for my audio installs.

    Works amazing.

Good call! I have two and they're great. Work very well. I want to buy the rest to round out the set.

 might be a strong factor! :D

Hey, not just guys :) When my daughter visited at Christmas she commented on the stack of unused HF coupons in our house (they come with the weekly coupon delivery in the mail ... HF, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc). Turns out she shops there more than I do, she lives in a big city with HF. And she's on a student budget.
