when i start my 2006 second gen auto matic the maintence light flashes 4 times and stops what does this mean?? thanks

 

I think your better off than me because my maintenance light stays on all the time, same with my check engine light lol.

 

It means you are coming up on an oil change, at least thats what mine does

i figured it was an oil change but i was just making sure and i have gooled this before but never found anything and plus i just got my oil changed last week they must have forgot to reset it thanks for ur help every one

jiffy lube because my normal shop couldnt get me in that day

 

If it flashes then your close to needing a oil change like they said, if it stays on then your right at the mark for it or your past due. It states in your owners manual how to reset it and turn the light off.

 

Man you should change it yourself, it's extremely easy and you'll save some coin. For what you're paying a shop, you can drop in full synthetic and a real filter (k&n or mobile). This is by far the easiest vehicle to change oil on I've ever seen.
