In my infinite wisdom (boredom) I had an idea: adding lock actuators to the windoor locks.

I've got windoors on both sides of my Leer 100XR, and each window has two twist-handle locks. Theoretically, I think I can wire up two actuators (per window) to twist those locks automatically (I would then remove the exterior handle) whenever I lock/unlock my truck. Has anyone done this, or seen something similar?

I think Leer has an actuator for the hatch locks. It doesn't turn them, but it will unlock and lock with a keyless remote

Adding an electronic motor for keyless entry to my SnugTop hatch was like $400 for a single motor setup.

Would be nice, but for $400 I'll use a key.

I've got the keyless entry option on the main (rear) lock of the canopy. I want the same thing on the windoors. I asked about this when purchasing and was told it was not available, thus my custom approach idea.

Come to think of it, I'd have to do the same thing w/ unlocking, but not actually twisting. The handles would have to stay in place so that I have something to grab on to in order to lift the windoor.

Never did get around to it, but it's on my endless list of mods to do!
