DOME LIGHT NOT WORKING

Just had the rev 1 reflash done last week and finally drove the truck after dark, noticed that my dome light does not work. Map lights work.
1. could the reflash have done something.
2. dont the fuse that works the map lights also control the dome light.
3. Checked no power running to the dome light.
Any ideas.

ill have to test it out on sat. On the fuses does the fuse that says dome 7.5 control the map lights also or does it use another fuse. If it uses the same fuse then the fuse is good, because the maps work fine.

It's common practice to shut off unnecessary accessories when doing diagnostics.

Oddly enough mine just did this last night too. I havent spent the time looking at fuses yet but did check the switch and I couldn't turn it on or have it turn on with the doors. Map lights worked. I don't believe any of the lights turned on when I came up to it with the keyfob or unlocked it.

It's on the list of stuff to do this weekend. Hopefully it's nothing major.

Maybe the reflash deleted all your customization.

 

They did this to mine when I had the TSB done. My wife noticed before I did

 

Same thing happened to my truck the other day. Dome light didn't work, but map lights still work.

 

Ok feel stupid, the rocker switch between the map lights was turned off must have hit it which kills the dome light.

 

Oddly enough… mine was the same thing. It looked like it was in the right spot but must have got bumped and been just enough to turn them off. Flipped it on and off and everything is working again.

I hope you didn't go to the dealer to figure that out.

 

No noticed it at night time with the lights on.

 

My dome light has not been turning on. Discovered it is the rubber over the door switch. They don't like working when it is -30 celcius, cock stiff and won't turn my interior lights on, anyone else have this problem ?

 

Can't tell you how much trouble you saved me. I just installed so many electronics I was seriously thinking I damaged a wire in the loom.

 

So I'm having a problem since installing Meso puddles (which are also currently not functioning). The maps and dome both are not working. Really hoping I didn't damage a wire in running the harness. Any ideas? I have messed with all the switches I can think of.
