My 2009 TRD Sport Prerunner was totaled yesterday had 78,000 miles on it 18 inch fuel wheels, terra grapplers and a 3 inch coil spacer lift.
As much as I want to lay in bed and cry about this, how much money will I get for the truck?

    Never accept the first offer.

What are the details of the accident?

I pulled out in front of a car going 65 in a 45 in rush hour traffic. I was cited with a ticket, but I have full coverage of the car.
Also, 3/4 of my tires and wheels are fine. As well as my ARB Bumper, lightbar, and my touch screen radio can I take this off and will insurance cover these extra mods?

Ouch! That is going to hurt when payment time comes.

They may let you swap parts with the stockers if you still have them.

    Maybe.

Hopefully you are ok. Good news it that who is responsible means nothing with respect to payout. Just be sure to do your homework and look for similar vehicles for sale in your area and what they go for.

Coverage depends on your policy and if you have a special riders that specifically account for Add ons. Typically you get what that model and year is worth standard. If it's being totaled you may be able to negotiate pulling all those upgrades, at your cost. If repairable and just being totaled due to cost, you could buy it back and repair.

Doesn't matter if it's being totaled negotiate pulling your upgrades, otherwise the salvage yard that takes it will do it and sell them.

Every insurance company has different rules when it comes to mods. You might have to let them go with the truck, or they might let you buy them back. You really need to ask your insurance agent/company for their rules.

Maybe negotiate with the insurance company and accept a reduced settlement and keep the wrecked truck.

I have the truck being towed to my uncle's bodyshop which is partners with State Farm. Hopefully we will get the parts off, I'm just really worried I'll get the money and it won't be enough to buy a similar truck.

You don't buy back upgrades unless they are paying for the upgrades in the first place. Trust me just negotiate, the insurance company does not give a shit if it gets hauled off with no radio or no front bumper or light bars.

    Same as everybody else...
You walked away from a collision with another vehicle that was traveling 60 plus MPH, count your lucky stars man. The truck is just metal, you can always replace the truck but you not so much. Tonight raise a glass to Toyota who engineered and built a truck that protects the driver and passengers to a high degree than just move on to finding another truck, the woods are full of em.

"Failure to yield when making a left hand turn" I yielded for five minutes made eye contact with the driver and when I pulled out he sped up, guess he wanted a new truck.

Yeah, I know man I just have a lot of sentimental value with the truck. I mean I'd literally go outside and just stare at it.

Is that retail or trade-in value? Make sure you get at least retail value, since that's what you will have to pay for a replacement. Look around in your area for similar trucks and get copies of their window stickers so you have something to show the insurance if they try to screw you. Hopefully they won't and will offer you true market value.
    Good luck.
