That actually doesn't sound like an issue to me. The 01 bumper is a fat lip style vs the 95 which is almost flush and 98 which sticks out a little. The 01 grill sticks out more too, which makes the 01 bumper look less bloated I suppose.

Notice the difference in the gap between the grill and the bull bar

Here's one with the 99 bumper for comparison.

    Yours looks great.

When I'm talking about a 4" gap it was open air between the grille and back edge of the bumper/valence. I could have literally stuck a 4x4" between the bumper and my grille.

Mine had a gap there but I don't recall it's size. Probably like 2 inches wide if I had to guess. It didn't bother me and the bull bar made it practically unnoticeable

I keep a gear bag in my extra cab. Holds the essentials. I've also got a bedside toolbox from a full size truck that I modded to fit the Tacoma. There's a write up on it around here somewhere. It's nice because it doesn't eat up a bunch of bed space, but still holds quite a bit of junk.

Thanks man, believe I'm going to sell it. Gotta get all the stuff out of it first. Probably sell my kobalt setup to since I won't have room.

Probably get a set of ratcheting wrenches plus another of the common sizes....

World's most polarizing piece of aluminum, kinda like owning a Subaru. Your either the guy that just commutes or you're the monster energy stickered, flat brim hat wearing, vape god that listens to bass line the song.

Either way I'm just the guy that bought one on a whim, we shall see if it lives up to the hype everyone here seems to expect of it.

So, should be ordering coilovers soon. Going with kings, not sure if I should go with the 700lb spring.

I've got a shrockworks front bumper, shipping weight of 110lbs.
Smittybilt 9.5xrc with synthetic rope and aluminum fair lead.
One day should have skids and sooner I hope Sliders if it matters.
