Our mount plates are 3/16" as well. The support brackets may fit with other bumpers, but no guarantees. It depends on how wide the mounting flange is on the other bumpers. If it hangs out past the outer edge of the original frame mounting flange, then it may be too wide and our bracket wouldn't wrap around properly.

Can you guys speak to how your winch bumpers do in the winter with icing up? Is there enough room to get a cover over the winch?

Have had the enjoyable experience several times of trying to pay synthetic cable out of an aftermarket bumped with an iced up winch inside.

I would probably make some kind of removable covers for the holes in the C4 Lo-Pro and Stingray Lo-Pro to prevent things/water from entering that area at high speed.

I haven't had mine long enough, that said I also only use steel wire rope so don't have to worry about the elements.

With the SSO bumper you could probably manage to get a cover on it but it would be a pain I think. The way the winch is mounted I can't imagine much getting to the winch.

I'm thinking with all of these weighing in around 75 lbs and a winch probably weighing around 80-90 lbs, the total of 150-170 lbs extra weight isn't going to require upgraded suspension right?

This 3rd gen sits right at the same clearance height that my (minor lifted) 2nd gen did. That's all I've ever needed, not rock crawling, just trudging through swamp/mud/woods.

Eventually but not required imho. I measured the fender to top of tire and it was 5.75" with the winch and bumper installed it lowered to 5.25" It should perform satisfactory under braking

Nice, yeah a 1/2" isn't going to break anything.

I'm updating the first post with info as I find it.

@RelentlessFab On the stingray lo-pro, it mentions that it "Includes support brackets to secure factory bumper ends". Do you have picture of that or a link to an install guide? I tried searching around the forums for one but came up empty.

I plan to shore up that 1/2in loss with a toytec 1/2in leveling kit.

Pricing seems to be roughly the same with Relentless Fab @ 797$ , C4 @ 899$ , SSO @ 933$ all would have the hoop , bare metal , light mount with no light . Thats shipped to Cali. My 1st choice is the SSO bumper just a little less cutting up of the plastic around the grill ! looks as though you might be able to save your behind grill light if you can make some new mounts. "The C4 is with the 85$ support brackets "

To me, the SSO looks the best. It looks factory where the others look to be just slapped on. The SSO fits the lines of the Truck better and just has a finished look to it.

Might relate to these? This is my 4Runner so I'm not positive. @RelentlessFab cab clarify

They are basically brackets so your factory bumper doesn't flap around in the wind.

Thanks! Also, your site mentions it supports the Baja S8 light bar, is that the 20"? It looks like it from the pictures, but just want to confirm.
