    "You will most likely have to upgrade your coils depending on what shocks you are running. I am not familiar with the spacer lift enough to tell you what will happen with the addition of more weight. If you are trying to keep it cheap I would recommend ditching the spacer lift and doing either OME shocks or bilstiens up front with the correct weight coils"

    I have Bilstein 7100's in the front and stock coils. The spacer is the type that attaches to the top of the shock to give me the 3 inch lift for the larger tires.

    But the spacer may sag with the extra weight. Spacer lifts vary just like shocks and coils and the weight may bring some sag to the front end with spacers and stock coils.

    Hence why I am asking. So it sounds like I better get some new coils and shocks before getting the bumper...

    I have some questions - I need answered asap so I can order a bumper.

    2016 Tacoma front bumper

    1) which finish is more durable - line-x or powder coat?
    2) Which winches fit?
    3) Fog light - what size fits? Rigid d2 size?
    4) is their a front license plate mount like on the 2nd generation?

    Line-X is more durable but is a textured finish
    anything from 8k-12k will fit on the mounting plate, the solenoid will have to be relocated
    any standard 4x LED pod will fit, Rigid D2's included
    Holes are drilled for a license plate yes, or you can add the flipster license plate mount to the fairlead

    @Pelfreybilt - Quick question regarding the standard rear bumper for a '17 Tacoma... I see it comes with a hidden hitch. I've seen a couple of photos of the hitch bare metal laying on the ground (front and back). What I can't tell is where the receiver pin hole is, as well as the holes for the safety chains. I assume it has the receiver pin hole and I just couldn't see it? How about the safety chain hook holes? I may be towing a pop up trailer down the road and want to make sure it can handle it. Any images you can post would be appreciated. Happy New Year!

    There is a receiver pin hole and safety chain hangers just below the hitch. I tow the max recommended and sometimes more unfortunately. Never an issue with the bumper/receiver. A pop us will be no problem at all, I tow one of those too.

    We are entertaining the idea of a dual swing out but it will not be for some time. We may or may not be having a sale, we have not yet decided after all the savings we handed out over the holidays.
