When my brothers stepson was training in the Marines, a person in front of him dropped a grenade before throwing it and he dived in front of him to swat it away, with him receiving shrapnel wounds to his hand, so we never know when are time is up. He is a quadriplegic now and it's tough to see him that way, after being so physically fit. :(

Was that in Al-Anbar? If that's the event I'm thinking of it was in January during the crazy weather.

I remember that, when I first heard about it I was told it was a shoot down. It wasn't till later that I learned that they got caught in one of those storms.

Oh, I agree. It's most likely our fault piled on top of naturally occurring changes. I also think, despite our best efforts, there isn't a dang thing that we'll be able to do about it other than hang on for the ride :)

If you accept that burning fossil fuels contributes to heating the climate then you can change policy to accept the facts and work to transition towards less carbon intensive energy generation , thats one thing you could do that would help negate an exponential rise in temps

or deny science and pretend it doesn't exist which definitely will lead to an exponential increase in temps and associated drought / famine events

We just need a source like nuclear power as a vehicle to transport us to renewables.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Not correct. Of the approximately 12k papers written on global warming, only %32 endorsed the concept of global warming, %97 of those contributing it to human interaction; so about %31 of all papers actually attribute human's as the cause of global warming.

If you take politics and retards out of the picture and actually let objective science do its thing; you're left with a potentially positive linear correlation between C02 and global temperatures which can only be used to construct hypothesis for further research. The concept of global warming is just that; an hypothesis (which has yet to be proven). The sad part is, everyone who thinks they are helping are actually hindering further and deeper research.

Cleaner then coal for sure. The only thing is what to do with spent fuel rods. Their half life's are crazy.
