I have fogged headlights

How do I fix it? I'm posting from my phone so I'll get a pic soon.

 

take the caps off on the back of the headlights, and let your truck sit in a dry area. it will unfog in a day or so and then put the caps back on. if it does fog again you will have to put them in the oven take them apart and re seal them.

Have you done the BLHM?

If you haven't done BHLM, just have the dealer fix it... you're still warrenty right? Unless you put over 36k in one year

 

Take a packet of Silica gel tablets, like what come packaged in a pair of new shoes or something like that. Tie a string around them and drop them in the sockets for your headlights. Leave them there for a day and they'll absorb all the moisture. Then, pull them out with the string and put the headlights back in. I'd go through with a tube of silicone and hit up everything that looks like isn't making a good seal.

 

dealer... since you most likely have less than 36k on it. dont let them get off not fixing it!

have you installed anything but OEM headlight bulbs in there? if so, you could not have properly installed the rubber boot and therefore moisture was let in.

 

porobably have a break in your halogen fluid line

 

Hey so i did the BHLM a while ago, and survived through winter without them getting water in them, but yesterday i washed the truck and now my light is fogged and looks like the pic above.

Did removing the caps behind the light help at all?
