@aero3685 Time to call in Colorado 4x4 recovery! I can't do that anymore because I have not built the Tundra enough yet.

Yup.. plowing the way for someone on 35's, fully chained... But thats none of my business. :bananadance:

Funny how you misplaced any pictures of my big enough 31's plowing through snowdrifts on the first try that everyone guaranteed I wouldn't make it through. :p

I have personally only ever run Warn winches. 2 M8000 winches, XP9.5, and a 9.5ti currently on the 4runner. I've only had issues with 1 winch and that was my fault for not following mounting directions causing a motor to rust up. I'm in the hunt for my next winch.

Everyone post up about your personal winch experiences. Have you ever stalled or overheated your winch? (your not getting stuck hard enough) Any issues? Positive experiences?

Im running the Shittybilt x20 10k winch. First winch, been used quite a few times already, only once for me, to pull me a few feet forward in the picture Jack keeps posting. Other times it was used for the CO 4x4 R&R's. Only issues were the slightly frayed synthetic line when it was new (not bad, but ... paying for a winch with a synthetic line, brand new out of the box I dont want to see fraying... they replaced it, and the new one had protective sleeves). Other issue was someone else with the same winch on one of the recoveries, we were parked side by side, both running wireless and there was some interference. But then one just plugs in the cable and it works fine.

Shouldnt you be looking at Jeep magazines drooling over solid axles? Or did your mom find your magazines under your bed.

And it was the picture from a bit before that... you know, before you broke your truck. Not the picture of me turning around because someones 2wd truck couldnt go any further. :bananadead:

I don't know why you both get so butt hurt and give each other so much shit about getting stuck. If you've never gotten stuck that just means you aren't pushing the limits of your truck.
