Hey there TW. I've been looking at sliders for a loooong time. I finally decided on the AllPro APEX sliders for $788 (after shipping) Bare steel.

    UNTIL NOW.

I found a pair of RCI Sliders on Craigslist for $500 with fill plates and powder coat. I can/will pick the up tomorrow. But my question is, do they look too short? looking at pictures of them, the look like they leave exposed areas before and after the slider ends. The all pro sliders look to extend a bit farther.

I do some mild wheeling a few times a month, nothing crazy. which is best for me? does that little bit of length leave me unprotected?

Go with the $500 ones. There's still plenty of protection underneath, and that's where the most likely hits will be.

If i had the cash! yours are 949.00 power coated and fill plated, without shipping. I 100% agree Mobtown is the best sliders out there though. Im just a peasant though, i can't afford that luxury.

$799 + powder + shipping for DCSB with kick out and fill plates. And I think we have the most attractive fill plates on the market.

I bought mine on Black Friday and picked them up about a week before Christmas. Haven't had time to paint them yet but am impressed with the build quality.

Gotcha. What kind of mounting hardware came with them? Just nuts and bolts? Sorry for being so needy. Have any pics?

    Perfect.

Just making sure I can just run to lowes or something and get replacements if some hardware is missing when I pick them up tomorow.

Looks like it's all just standard stuff and no crazy mounts or brackets.

    Thank you!!

Not a problem sir. I'll start my build thread pretty soon. I've got a full OME with Dakar lift, SOS front and rear bumpers and the RCI sliders and skid that all need to go on during vacation week.

    What's the best to use?

I know grade 8 can shear easy. Would grade 5 be better?
