I'm just not sure why he likes insinuating my truck sucks because I was the one who knowingly broke trail in deep snow knowing i'd probably get stuck. I just continue to point out to him the realities of what happened. But like the media... he only sees what he wants...

Why do places put so many covenants on property! Theres a decent deal on a good amount of land, but more than likely its so cheap because the covenants say you can only have two or three structures on the property, only one can be a house, the house has to be at least this big, you cant do this, you cant do that... I can see something like that on an acre or two, but c'mon folks.

    because hippies.
They like to buy cheap land and litter it with cheap sheds and call them "shabins" and attempt to live in them and because there just ain't a lot of room in a "shabin", they pick up or "build" a few more of those construction site leftovers so they can grow their weed and store their shit.. Drive up Buckhorn Canyon and you'll see what I mean.

The price is really good on them. The only bad things I have heard about them is they are slow and noisy. But do they work every time, that is really all that makes a difference.

I understand some stuff... but 40 acres, I want to be able to do what I want. Maybe I dont want a 2,000 sq ft house, but would be happy with a 2,000 sq ft garage thats nicer than the neighbors house... the neighbors house that I shouldn't be able to ever see unless they invite me over for dinner.

I've been told it's slow too. I'm pretty sure that's because it gets it 12k lb rating in large part from it's gearing (3stage planetary gear reduction)
    It ain't silent either.

That said, I don't remember a single one of the many many times I've used it to get myself or someone else out of a jam where I said "damn, I really wish this thing would hurry the hell up" or "holy crap, I can't hear myself think!"

I've always just been really grateful that it worked for me

I get it. Crystal Lakes is a prime example of covenant enforced property. Red Feather and that elite resort joke, Fox Acres are the same. None of those people look happy to live there either. Or maybe just not happy to see me roll by, i dunno.

It seems like a really good value. Just comes with an added cost of synthetic I'm hung up on. I like the ease of handling synthetic line.
