Just ordered a 2017 DCSB TRD-Offroad 6sp Manual with the Tech/premium and tow packages and it comes out to be right around $34,600. OTD was $37,629 (8.3% tax + license fee....no doc fee). This was about $650 cheaper then any other dealer I could find in the Pacific Northwest. MSRP was right over 37k I think so just about $2400 in savings and I didn't have to get any of those stupid add ons that no one wants.

I hate when those finance managers try to sneak those ridiculous add ons into the deal jack up your good deal with overpriced extended warranties and tire protections.

I was about to sign the papers and saw those add ons and told the finance manager you take it off or I'm not buying. Period! That's what I get for telling them my target monthly payment as I should of known those crooks were going to manipulate that to sneak those add ons in to the final price.

I understand finance managers got to eat too and earn as much commission as possible but a deal without the add ons is better than no sale at all. The finance manager and salesman ends up losing when you don't buy the truck as they get no commission so they will remove the add ons if you tell them you are going to walk away from the deal.

I refuse to pay $2200 for a warranty I may never use and $700 for tire protection I won't use either. The reason they offer to sell $500-1000 below invoice is because they are expecting to make money on back end products. Uhh.

Glad I finally got my truck and I won't be going through the vehicle purchasing experience for another 10+ years.

Sound like you ordered just about the same thing I did, the MSRP is $37598 and they are giving me at Invoice $34629, the only 2 color choices it gave in Off Road Manual with P&T was Quicksand and MGM, I chose MGM.

    Okay. Pulled the trigger today.
    I'm gonna try these acronyms...
    2017 4x4 DCSB TRDOR
    Brilliant Blue Pearl
Factory JBL,Tonneau Cover, V6 Tow package, all weather mats and mudguards.
    MSRP $40,318

    Agreed on $38,453

Added: 5" black oval steps, bed mat, and bed extender for $874 installed.

    $870 ttl

Got suckered into platinum extra warranty 72/75000 for $1295 (they asked for 1495 and I offered 1200)
Tire and wheel for $499...I know :-(
Vehicle protection for $1495... probably a rip off, they said I bring it in and they spray the bottom, and protect the paint/seats.

For a grand total of $43,486

Nice! Truck looks so nice in blue. I wanted mine in blue but couldn't find an TRD off road at any of the dealerships in my area and didn't want to go through the trouble of ordering one so I settled for magnetic gray.

Yeah, they are high pressured about those add ons. You can cancel those at anytime if you don't think they are worth it though. $1200 for the extended warranty isn't too bad if it will replace anything that goes wrong on the truck. My dealership wanted to charge $2200 for one and I told them no. The finance manager did reduce the price to $1500 but I still said no maybe I should have got the extended warranty. Toyota is still working the kinks out on these trucks and the MTS or crawl control functions might malfunction. Just because it's a toyota doesn't mean it's going to be trouble free. So it might be a good idea to keep the warranty. Not sure if the tire protection is worth it unless you live in an area with a lot of debris and nails on the road.

Just got a 2017 Tacoma LTD with tonneau, tow, all weather mats, mudguard, bed liner (MSRP $41662, sale price $38898)
Add ons: remote start, tint, bed extender, bed step, black tube steps, TRD exhaust ($1895 in add ons)
Diamond Gloss 10 year finish $500
    OTD: $41293

Replaced my 2013 Taco LTD (with same add ons except TRD exhaust and bed step) with 22000 mile on it (traded it in for $28500).

Amazing thing is that was the no haggle price. Probably the easiest car buy ever.

I sold for a very large Toyota dealer in SWFL that would give any Joe Blow off the streets better deals than they would give all their employees. Pretty messed up.

After some frustration on my search, got a deal worked out yesterday afternoon for a vehicle in the Phoenix area:

2017 Tacoma TRD Sport DCSB 4WD AT
    Black
    Premium & Tech with JBL
    Tow Package
    Carpeted Floor Mats
    Tint

    $39,568 plus $399 tint = $39,967 MSRP
    $35,791 before TTL

Transaction was probably the easiest and least stressful than any car buying experience we have ever gone through. I don't think we got a great deal by any means, even for the last day if the year, but we got the ideal color and build without having to pay for extra options that we didn't really didn't want.

Now we can start enjoying our first Tacoma. Already ordered a TRD Pro grill and a bed mat from the Duke of Deals Round 2 in the deals and coupons section last night before it expired.

Just bought my 2017 SR5 Access Cab 4x4 with tow package, mud guards floor liners/door sill for $32,000. MSRP was $33,822. Dealer adjusted for county tax (each county in WA State is different) by lowering cost of the rig.

I see you are in Baltimore. I am in Bel Air, 45 mins north of you.

I went to Koons in Tyson's Corner, Vienna, VA.

Dealt with their internet manager Pushkar. It was literally no haggle. I clicked on "lower my wow price" online and was shocked to see them discount that much off the bat. No other dealer in my area wanted to touch that price so I drove all the way to VA to purchase it.

Not sure how good a deal I got, but sale price was 35,200 (2100 below sticker)for a Silver DCSB TRD OR 4x4 with no addons, dealer extends the 5 year 60k powertrain for as long as I own it. I opted for a couple of the FI options, namely road hazard, which applies to all stock sized tires, and dent ding and paint repair for 5 years because this is Texas and HAIL happens and I will likely get a few dings on the trail if my 05 is any indication. The best part is the FI guy cut my interest rate pretty significantly to accommodate his commission, which I am cool with, as I was already comfortable with my pmt and rates before going to the FI office. Picked it up NYE, and so far I LOVE THIS TRUCK, it is a distinct improvement over the 05 DCSB OR 4x4 I have had for the last couple years.
