Is it just me or does everyone think about good things to do during a zombie apocolypse while bored at work? Or when you see something thatd be efficient at zombie slaying

Careful - that attitude/mindset can be potentially toxic. With capacity for increased damage, comes increased responsibility to make sure that any contact made, is not due to any malicious or grossly negligent intent shown, of your own. This would include any action that might be construed as being overtly aggressive in nature - you don't want to be explaining to a cop post-incident, why you've effectively weaponized your vehicle in order to do harm to others in a road-rage incident. That would definitely be a bad scene. Having the armor, hopefully also makes for a better driver - i for one, don't want to be doing damage to others through inattention, or negligence.

    JMHO...

Priorities, and the cost of safety. Sure, the cost of front and rear financially stung ... the peace of mind afterwards, worth it. I've noted an overall decrease in near-miss unsafe lane-changers, aggressive driving in close proximity to myself, and less in the way of tail-gating. I've already saved money/the insurer's money/my own vehicle in one collision..

No joke - you can't stop those who are a slave to their cell-phones, or are so deep into their own bad driving habits, that they don't realize the hazard that they pose when they play in traffic, but you can protect against them to a good degree. What is the price, for peace of mind?

You know the paper cutting thing schools use to cut alot of paper at once? They have 4 bolts that hold the 1/4inch thick steel blade in the handle. A metal fab expert could make numorous blade types instead of sharpening the original blade, which shears the paper and isnt even really a blade. Michonne style.

The larger vehicles - the 'intimidators' ... usually full-sized SUV's/full-sized Cowboy-Cadillac's, still do their douchey intimidation tail-gating to get you to tail-gate or get out of the way into equally congested traffic .. and BMW/Acura/Mercs/Infinity products still have a very high prick behind the wheel ratio.

I can only speak in generalities, but overall so far it seems to be having the desired effect of passively deterring potential road car carnage incidents, or at least reducing the risk of involvement through proximity and frequency.

I've posted this before but here's another- '95 Tacoma w/ ARB vs. Subaru. I was doing 45mph, his estimated speed was between 50-55mph when he crossed the double yellow line into me. I walked away, he didn't. Intrusion into the passenger compartment, buckled the roof behind the B pillar, frame was jacked-up, etc.

I'd already taken the right Hella 4000 off before I snapped the picture.

An ARB was one of the first things I added to my '05 when I got it.
