What model do you have? Sport, or non? I've read around, and I'm sure people will chime in, that the LS additive in the mobile 1 sucks for the LSD in the sport -- they are mostly running non synthetic oils, and using their own additive.

Im running that same oil in my non-LSD truck, and I have no complaints so far -- When I pull the plug again in another 25k or so, I'll let you know for sure. :p:p

I know it doesn't apply to the OP's situation, but I just want to point out that just because you don't have a Sport doesn't mean you don't have an LSD. I have an SR5, non-TRD, and I have an LSD.

I haven't either, but for the sake of causing some drama and jacking this dudes thread, I didn't say anything. I'm sure anything is an option if you pay enough for it...

Jeremy -- if you're unsure about it, check your window sticker. But, unless there are some exceptions, if you don't have a sport, you dont have the LSD. And, if your totally worried, just toss the additive in there anyway.

Mobil 1 is good. I put some of this in there and so far so good, I'll find out more next change.

Here is proof you can purchase a non-sport truck with LSD. Mine has a LSD sticker on the differential.

I've gone through two moves since I bought the truck, it would take me a while to find the window sticker.

I have the "LSD Oil Only" on the back of the rear diff, and I know the info sheet (window sticker) had it also. Besides that, it's fairly obvious when driving it in certain situations that it has an LSD and not an open differential. There have been others who point out the same thing, I just usually clarify that because I see a lot of people here, including yourself, assume it was only installed on the TRD Sport packages.

Also, I didn't even special order mine, it was on the lot. That said, I specifically wanted an SR5 with an LSD, so had I not found exactly what I wanted on the lot, I would have asked them for it.
