I had my springs installed onto the strut from the vendor, but in my research I saw a few videos of people compressing the spring using a jack on the lower control arm. Kind of bolt everything in place then use the jack to compress the LCA upwards. Lemme find a video

I presume you are using the spring compressing bolts? May have to borrow a second set and use three. I did that when I installed my 5100's - for safety reasons, not that I needed to.

Do you have the right compressor?

Ok i noticed this with the top hat, it seems to be moving down woth the coil? Would it be stupid to try taking the top strut nut off? I have 2 bolt style compressors and a saftey strap on the coil

When I put in my 880's I didn't use a compressor. I put a jack under the lca and very slowly let the jack down. Seen a YouTube video of it. Watched it many times and did the same thing in the video. Worked great. Take your time and go very slow.

    This
The clamps are way to close together they need to be at the bottom and top as far as possible and tighten them equally as you compress the coil

    ^ Yes too close together.

And if it was me, I'd release the tension on those compressors and just go with the video that's listed. Remember to mark your cams before loosening the LCA bolts if you go that that route.

Just seeing that spring in the compressors makes my nerves frazzled. Be careful, good luck.

Hey bro I did mine last week and I did the jack method, so much easier, I would've got both sides done in one night but made the mistake of messing the threads up on my outer tie rod and the jack method is much safer
