    Yeah well, you just have to pick your good stories of stupid homeowners or some such thing lol. Before I joined the service I was doing HAVC installs duct / hoods etc . We were HVAC and Electric folks for a big pizza chain up in the north east called Papa Gino's . We did all their service, retrofits and new construction, they were famous for their oak wainscoting laid on diagonal's the carpenters would cut into the walls for this or that and even though we taped the location of our drops they would cut through and not say anything. We go to hook up the new units and the lines are all dead and a little pull you get the other end in your hand . We got rather tired of this after the 3rd new install with the cut wires. Well we stayed late on a Friday doing new install "cleaning up "roof curbing for the new roof units to be delivered Monday. This was in the early 80's nail guns not really in use that much except for finish nailing the trim. They used to leave their crates of loose nails in the bldg, once it was closed in hmm when you have to take a leak and there are no toilets etc .. well the crates looked handy :} As you might imagine come Monday when all the carpenters were loading their nail bags and later you know how they pop nails in their mouth to hold while taping a board in place.. I don't imagine they ever understood why HVAC guys were chuckling as we put the runs up . Hey it served them right cutting our wires and shooting holes in the flexi duct with their finish nail guns at lunch and laughing about it when the ducts whistled when we fired the systems up. Now the plumbing crew lol they were pissed when we ran our ducts where we were supposed to and ran into their sprinkler lines so we notched the ducts around them then let the foreman know to call use to seal the holes up when the plumbers came back and moved their lines :}

    One of the perks of being the only operator in the office, and at double OT, what the hell...I'm game. I got 6 or 7 hours yesterday and 8 today. What a way to end one year and start another?

    Good for you.
    I wouldn't get shit but straight time on a sunday, but they charged outrageous amounts. Time started on Sunday and ended on Saturday.

    I get time and a half OT for anything over 10 hrs a day and anytime Friday thru Sunday or observed holiday and double for working the actual holiday. I get plenty of OT this time of year. Sometimes more than I want.

    Good nite all! Hopefully better sleep tonight. Back to the morning grind tomorrow. At least it's a Holliday for the wheels tomorrow, so should be a pretty good day.

    So, Cypherina, you are /were a airframe specialist in the AF? I saw you mention ecm pods -- ECM was my original AFSC years ago -- then on to be a AMT on RC135s.
    before that I was a ecm tech on B52's. You were probably in after I got out?
