    Ok, yeah a few years before me o_O

    Yeah, dual military couples got shafted on some stuff.

    They had other ways to get $$ from you. This was when we were living paycheck to paycheck and the checking account was usually down to less than $1.00 come payday. When I had my second son, got to the hospital @ 10:30 pm, lost my rations for the day. Got discharged after breakfast, lost my rations for the day. Went back in to the hospital after dinner, got no food, lost my rations for the day.... no breakfast or lunch the next day - needed surgery, lost my rations for the day. Got discharged after breakfast and lost my rations for the day. :annoyed:

    When I got out of tech school I wanted to work on the SR-71, but never got the chance. Only saw it once. The guys around it told me they parked them over lots of drip pans.

    :mad: never got a single penny to re-enlist. Never available when it was my time :pout:

    Had a good friend over for NYE, and between the 2 of us we drank an entire bottle to 21 year-old single malt. Then out to breakfast this morning at our local New Mexican place. Then today, in-laws and daughter here for our postponed Christmas family get-together. On the menu:
