Went to the Steelers game today. Glad to know our backups can beat another teams first line even if it is the browns.

The Browns can have 5 first round #1 picks and will still suck.

I'm thinking there was some kinda conspiracy going on between the team's. Give the fans an entertaining game since it's literally useless. Make the browns look like they might pull it off but then lose so they can secure the #1 draft pick.

When you have a team that fumbles in the end zone after an almost 40 yard pick 6 then fumbles at the 3 yard line with 40 seconds to go I can only think it was set up.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
How can you call Kelly a worthless head coach? He had no players to work with. He had a GM that wouldn't help him. And he only had one season, after one of the worst off seasons in recorded history?

This she coach had two 10 win seasons with the Eagles. If every coach who started with a 2-14 record in their first season was kicked out of head coaching, belichik wouldn't be the coach he is.

If that's a guy who needs to retire, then what does that say for Romo? Romo for wheelchair?

Brady has 3 seasons on Romo, but yes, Romo should probably retire too before he's paralyzed.

Actually 5..Brady took the job in 2001, Romo in 2006. Brady isn't a youngster of course but if he can still play at this level that he's a top 5 or better QB, why stop?

And yes Romo scares me like that.

    Hey guys,

Just jumping in here for the future trash talk. Long time Packers fan here up in Canada so I follow the CFL a little more religiously. Great game tonight, Rogers showed once again that when he wants to be the best he is the best in this league. He probably won't get the MVP, which makes sense given his ho hum start, but tonight he showed that he can still switch it on and run the table over several games.

I also just learned I will be flown into Seattle next week for the Wild Card game. For free, well on the company dime. It's unfortunate that both teams can't lose but I'm really looking forward to my first NFL playoff experience.

He is easily top 5, so he should retire while he's on top, that I it would make it a little easier for the Cowboys to win a Superbowl.

Better than ever in a lot of ways. The sports networks up here are finally paying a decent amount of money for the games so teams aren't as pressed for cash as they were a decade or two ago. I think the NFL network also picks up a few of the games on nights when NFL football is not being played which helps get the game even more dollars. Attendance is healthy everywhere but in Toronto and a lot of that has to do with how hungry that city is to have its own NFL team, which could happen if they ever build a new stadium there. The league is back up to 9 teams and I think 10 is really the sustainable number in the future.

It's really a totally different game given the longer field, 3 downs, and longer distance to kick for the extra point. A guy from the NFL won't necessarily dominate in the CFL given the difference and it's showed up a few times when players have tried to drop down after playing a year or two of pro south of the border. When you watch the games you concentrate a lot less on the names, since there aren't as many stand out stars in the league, and a lot more on the rest of what's going on. I kind of like that sometimes.

I need to check it out, maybe I'll pick a team to follow. It would be interesting to see some cross-border action. Toronto can have the Lions... or one of the New York teams... nobody would miss the Buffalo Bills.

Funny story, and you probably know this, but Toronto has been trying to lure the Bills north for years. The Bills have played a few sold out games in Roger's Center, which can seat 80ish thousand but is over 20 years old, but I think it's more of a cock tease than a serious possibility. Unless Toronto builds a fancy new facility I can't see it being a sexy destination, even though over 5 million people live within a couple of hours drive. Heck the Blue Jay's are one of the most profitable teams in Baseball and I'm sure an NFL team would grab similar if not better attention.

It's not even very far north from Buffalo. They're practically Canada already.
