Finally got my special ordered TRD OR DCLB w tech package just before Xmas and couldn't be more stoked. Let go of my 96 taco back in 2012 and missed having one since. Happy to be back in the club. This one's got all these techy bells and whistles, unlike my OG taco, but I'm not complaining ! Ordered a Leer 100R last week and looking into other mods so I'll be lurking TacomaWorld...

    Mostly stuff I built.
Mine... I built it check my build thread.
None of the available racks from the venders were what I wanted. Also I don't buy anything I can build at a lower cost. In the case of this bed rack a much lower cost. Built the grille too.

Nice looking setup... can you snap some pictures of the bronze Ray10s in the sunlight?

So the Taco isn't the first vehicle I've driven that was offered in Quicksand.

Finally picked my TRD Off Road up on the 28th. I got it fully loaded but was surprised it had the Toyota paint protection, factory pin strips, bed liner, bed extender and spare tire lock added at the factory. Since I ordered it they got me one that was already in build status with those added. It also had the running boards but I had them take them off because I will add my own. I will get some pics up this week.

Still have the FJ :), they offered to buy it but NO...

Gotta say that taking photos is not my forte so definitely "pictures don't do these justice". That being said, here are a few more outside shots of the Ray10's. I love the set up of these with the 255's. I had to do just a minor trim of the inner mud flap on the passenger side, up high where it's out of sight. Only rubbed at full lock in reverse on that one side. Would not be an issue at all with flaps removed but I'm keeping them on for now. It actually only rubbed with my 8month preagnant wife in the passenger seat. Made the mistake of noting it in to her. Cold shoulder for the remainder of the night.

Haha... nothing like a good wheel clearance joke at the wife's expense. Sounds like you we able to weather the storm.

I'm really liking that bronze with the Quicksand. Thanks again for taking the pictures.

We used to load Hiluxes in the back all the time...best of both worlds.

Detour through Dutch flats. This color definitely stands out in the snow

Lots, about to sell it and come back to Tacoma though.
Does this color look light or dark most of the time? Seems to be lighter in most pics but darker in person.

It really depends. If it's in direct sunlight, it looks really really light. Other than that it's pretty dark.

Direct sun makes it a light tan, overcast days might make it look OD tan and sometimes even with a greenish tint.

Love how the color seems to change.
