I bought a pair of blacked out headlights off eBay and when I installed them the light patterns are F'n weird. Driver side has streaks of light that go way up and passenger side seems to be a little more normal but still weird. I'll take a pic when I have a few mins. Yes, they have been adjusted.

What brand are they? Sorry, but a lot of the eBay lights are complete crap. There are a couple manufacturers that are good. Look for CAPA certification. However, you're going to pay more for lights with this certification.

Are they kitted in a projector housing? if so, you look to have a malfunctioning cutoff shield, otherwise, bad bulb? appears to only be working on hi-beam, drivers side.

In all seriousness yes most aftermarket housings for any vehicle are usually crappy. Look good but fitnent is usually off or the reflectors are awkward or something. It's rare to get some cheaper ones that aren't junky.

Gotcha. I'm working on trying to go with a projector setup on the old headlights but not sure how to setup the high and low beam shield.

try swapping side with the bulbs irregardless, will help determine reflector vs bulb issues.

    Good idea. Will try
    I'm thinking it's a shitty reflector though

Did you replace your headlight fixtures or bulbs?

Anyone know how the low beam shield setup on a projector is supposed to be installed? The shield I have will only go on the bottom of the projector. It's my understanding it should install on top to prevent light from blinding oncoming traffic when on low beam.

    Am I making any sense???

Got some nice $85/ pair headlights and got the same issues. Saving for a retrofit project as well lol. We got what we paid for on these. It isn't imperative so I'm taking my time on getting new lights to retrofit but if you need them done quick @A7xschecter6661 knows what's up and can get you deals.

Im also working on retrofitting the old lights. It's been a slow process with some unknowns involved. If anyone has a good how to on the retrofit setup it would be awesome

Go to TRS, they have kits that will suit your desired level of modification, instructions and all.

The person I mentioned can get you discounts on TRS and has done quite a few very clean retrofits. Just check out his profile or shoot him a pm.
