    Good Morning, and Good Night!

Knew I shouldn't started that pork butt so late yesterday. Just finished half an hour ago and waiting on smoker to cool down so I can go to bed. It is always better warm so cut the money meat off and had some for supper, snack, breakfast what ever you want to call it.

Got the slaw made and in the fridge and beans ready to go. Likely breakfast, lunch and supper tomorrow. Sleet and maybe some rain then freezing again coming up in a few hours for the whole day, I'm not going anyplace.

For the controller and fan on the smoker they are not water or snowproof, seems like nothing ever is anymore. Most people use plastic bags to protect the computer and aluminum foil tent over the fan. Seemed kind of redneck even to me LOL so made my own housing. Found some 1 1/4 sump pump hose that works great for the fan connection but will try to find some metal hose eventually. Lid off here obviously.

Heat gun, pocket knife and hole saw can work wonders :)

    Looks good Mike.
I need some shredders. Would make it so much easier.
I saw a weber at lowes that came with table. Was a copper weber?
Idk. I'm still leaning towards the small gas griddle I saw in Kerrville.
I do have A Lodge sportsman cast iron grill. You know the small portable one. A customer gave it to me only used once. But it's real small.

Floor Jack Update. I exchanged the steel Jack for there 3 Ton low profile Aluminum Racing Jack. It's 17lbs lighter, and has two Handles. Of course it's more expensive lol!

Yeah those bear paws are great for ripping meat.

Can't remember the name of the Weber you saw it has gas ignition assist. I've always just used a chimney and a chunk of paraffin wax. Don't think can beat it and want my own table separate :)

Only you know what you cook most of the time, and what works for you. I have that big cast iron griddle from Cabelas but is kind of specialized for me. On the other hand if it wasn't for the snow here I'd likely set it up on the deck and use it once a day. At least.

Yeah had one of the Weber go anywhere portable grills about the same size as the lodge. Too small and gave it to one of my sons. He said the same thing after using it a few times so got him a real grill.

Nice I didn't know such a thing existed! I have an old 3 ton not as nice as yours though. Moving it around on the bricks and uneven ground you certainly know it is heavy.
