What's the advantage of the carpet on in interior? Is it just for looks or does it server a purpose?

It's easy to velcro stuff to, and if you sleep in the bed it captures condensation and provides temperature and noise insulation.
Edit - I say this as someone who didn't get it with the carpet and wish they had. Mine came unpainted, and I ended up painting it to seal in the fiberglass dust.

I've had caps for fifteen years. I have not bought one with carpet since I travel a lot of dusty roads and no matter what you do, dust gets in. It's easy to blast out with a garden hose but carpet would be a different deal.

If I staid on the pavement, perhaps I want the stuff. Sure looks nice.

    Good job on the spreadsheet.

What struck me was the gross markup your Leer dealer is doing on the windoors (and I assume all the options)–$400, are you kidding? If I recall, my quote was $160 apiece for windoors. I went with Century and they were $125 and are the same windoors as the Leer brand.

My Century Ultra Sport with one windoor was something like $1800 and it's the same cap as the Leer 100XR (with the same rear door). I think I saved $250 or something like that over a Leer. Same camper, same factory, same mold, same laminations, same paint shop, same windows/doors. Same warranty. Different logo (that covers the trapezoidal Leer shaped logo).

And yeah, I had to drive three hours to get to Missoula where the nearest dealers were...

It doesn't appear you got the vented windoors. Those are much more expensive typically than just a standard windoor. The vented ones should be around $200-250 each, but I agree, $400 is crazy.

Just wait. Someone will buy it and sell it and you can pay $1000 rather than twice as much.

No, it's not the vented ones. I've found this style to work great to give you access. I've got the stock screened slider on the passenger side.

+1^; I agree. I camp in mine no problem but not carpet for the simple reason I stuff the back of the bed with pruning's and garden clippings for the compost folks at times. With dirt and all carpet would be a mess. After the compost folks I just take a hose to mine as well.

I was getting both windows the same, so it is $395 for both winddoors.
